School Advisory Group (S.A.G.)
Every
school in RSU #1 has a School Advisory Group to further communication
between the community, parents, school and the board. Last year the
DNS group chose to focus on strengthening connections between the
school and the community. The group meets up to four times during the school
year. If
you are interested in serving on this year’s School Advisory Group,
please contact Mrs. Brown.

An Invitation from the Principal
On behalf of our
School Advisory Group I invite you to attend our next meeting on
Tuesday, May 22 at 4:30 PM here at Dike-Newell School. There will be an
update on the RSU1 school budget from school board member, Julie Rice.
We will also brainstorm ideas for community/family/school connectedness,
and activities for the 2012-13 school year to promote that community
connection. We welcome your input and encourage you to attend this
meeting if you are able. Child care will be available. If you are able
